Do you have a sweet tooth and often crave sugary snacks, but are conscious about your health? Then these gur makhanas are perfect for you!

Ingredients:

2 tsp ghee

2 cups fox nuts (makhanas)

1/2 cup chopped roasted jaggery (gur)

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tsp dry ginger powder

Black salt and black pepper to taste

Airtight container for storage

Instructions:

Start by adding one teaspoon full of ghee to a pan, and dry roasting the makhanas. Once the makhanas are nice and crunchy, transfer them to a plate and let them cool. Add another teaspoon full of ghee into the same pan, and add in the jaggery.

Sauté on medium-low heat until the jaggery begins to melt and bubble up. Add the sesame and dry ginger powder, along with a pinch of black salt and black pepper, to the pan. Reduce the heat to low and add in the roasted makhanas.

Stir gently until the makhanas are fully coated with the jaggery spice mix. Finally, remove the pan from the stove, and separate the makhanas. Store in an airtight container and enjoy!
