Summer is the time when your body needs extra hydration to beat the scorching heat and it's important to consume adequate amounts of fluids.

Recently, Chef Pankaj Bhadouria shared a recipe for cucumber chhaas combining the benefits of both buttermilk and cucumber to keep your body hydrated and cool.

Recipe of cucumber chhaas

Peel the cucumber and chop it into small pieces, put it into the blender and add 2 green chillies and make a puree of it.  Now, take a pot and add 500 ml buttermilk in it, add 1 cup of cucumber puree and then mix it with ½ tablespoon cumin powder, black salt and a few mint leaves. Pour it into a glass and serve.
