Poori with chole or aloo is almost everyone's favourite and we crave for it quite often. But have you ever wondered how much oil it consumes? Let us tell you.
Nutritionist Kiran Kukreja shared a reel on her Instagram about it mentioning that she used 204 grams of oil to fry 6 pooris; the oil left after it was just 159 grams which means the amount of oil consumed in making 6 pooris is 45 grams.
Therefore, 1 poori contains 7.5 grams of oil and almost 67.5 calories. She further mentioned that the source of calories are saturated fats, so it is not advisable to consume pooris on regular basis, but only once in 2-3 months.
