Pepsi to launch cola-flavoured ketchup; internet users ask it not to

Pepsi has caused a stir on the internet with its latest creation, ColaChup, which combines the flavours of cola and ketchup in a unique and unexpected way.

The brand has shared the news on Twitter and announced that the product will be launched on July 4. The caption of the Tweet reads - Stop the condiment wars, the undisputed champ is here – Pepsi Colachup. Sweet, salty, and ready to try at select baseball stadiums on July 4th. Hot dogs are #BetterWithPepsi

As soon as the news of Pepsi's ColaChup hit social media platforms, the internet is abuzz with reactions.

The combination of cola, a popular carbonated beverage, and ketchup, a condiment primarily associated with savoury dishes, left many scratching their heads.

Several social media users disapproved of it. One of them commented, "Just because I eat with my drink doesn't mean I want the drink on what I eat."

Notably, this product will debut at ballparks across the US and is yet to come to India. This combination is a part of their 'Better with Pepsi' campaign.
