Winter is coming and so is the flu season. This winter make sure you do not fall sick by making this delicious amla chutney at home. Amla is high in vitamin C, which helps strengthen the immune system, enhancing the body’s ability to fight off infections, including the flu. It is a powerhouse of antioxidants and is great for consuming during the flu season.

How to make amla chutney at home

Nutritionist and video content creator Tanvee Tutlani shared a simple amla chutney recipe, perfect for boosting immunity during the winter months.

To make this chutney, start by boiling water and adding amla. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes, then chop the boiled amla into small pieces. In a blender, combine the amla, fresh coriander, garlic, and green chilli, blending well with a little water until smooth.

For the final touch, heat some oil in a pan and add dried red chillies and cumin seeds. Pour this tadka over the chutney, and it’s ready to enjoy! Pair this immune-boosting chutney with your favourite meals.

Amla's anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe sore throats and reduce nasal congestion, offering some relief from flu symptoms.
