Viral tissue bread from South Korea’s Seoul amuses netizens, call it Korean cousin of rumali roti

An Instagram video from South Korea’s Seoul is making rounds showing paper thin bread slices. Also known as tissue bread, these delicate layers of bread are stacked to make a loaf. The video features Truffle bakery in Hannam Dong, Seoul. Netizens are amused by these super flaky bread slices and are demanding that they get it in India as well. 

 

What's special about this tissue bread?

According to the post, the bread is made with a special flour and lots of French Gome butter which gives it the strong aroma and flavour. The bread has gained so much popularity that it gets sold out everyday by 2 pm. The Truffle bakery also sells other kinds of popular breads like the French croissant.
