Do you love playing video games? Well, we've some good news for you. According to a new research, video games improve decision-making skills and even have a positive effect on the region of the brain that takes care of this function.
Published in the journal Neuroimage, the research project involved 47 participants, with 28 categorised as regular video game players and 19 as non-players. During the study, the brain activity of participants was monitored while they played a simple test game.
As per the findings, people who play video games are quick and more accurate with their responses. Researchers also noted that video games could be a useful tool for training in perceptual decision-making.
