Do you struggle with knee pain? Here's an exercise for you that might help alleviate it.
A recent study published in Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise provides encouraging findings. Researchers analysed data from over 2,600 people in their 60s and discovered an unexpected benefit of cycling. Individuals who had biked at any point in their lives were significantly less likely to develop knee pain, with a 17% reduction in general knee pain and a 21% reduction in knee pain associated with arthritis.
These findings suggest that engaging in cycling, whether outdoors or in spinning classes, could be a powerful tool for preventing knee arthritis and the associated pain.
