Mistakes to avoid during and after dinner

The first mistake many individuals make is to have a heavy, spicy and oily dinner. If you want to lose weight, eat salad, cereals and porridge in dinner. All these things contain fiber, due to which one does not feel hungry for a long time. At the same time, keep in mind the amount of food you consume. One should also avoid snacking after dinner as this adds extra calories. Also make sure to prepare food with less oil as excessive consumption can cause weight gain. Avoid foods like aloo paranthas for a a much healthier dinner option.

What is the perfect time to have dinner?

According to doctors, the entire digestion process takes approx 1.5-2 hours. Hence, ideally, one should eat dinner 2-3 hours before sleep. This will help your digestive system carry out digestion with ease. When we eat closer to bedtime, the body may not have enough time to complete the digestion process.
