Good and bad news for coffee lovers! People who drink coffee regularly walk 1,000 more steps each day but may lose half an hour of vital sleep at night, according to a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
For the study, researchers tracked daily steps and sleep patterns of 100 adult men and women for two weeks.
As per the findings, participants who drank coffee regularly walked extra steps each day, thanks to the energy and motivation boosts caffeine provides.
On the other hand, experts noted that daily coffee consumption impacted participants' sleep cycles.
