The day is observed to spread awareness about the impact of first hand and second-hand smoking in the lives of people. This year’s theme for No smoking day is ‘quitting smoking doesn’t have to be stressful.’
Both passive and active smoking can lead to many serious respiratory diseases and cardiovascular problems. However, quitting smoking can gradually help in healing one's heart and lungs health.
