Are you fond of essential oils that smell great? If yes, then this one's for you. According to a study published in the journal 'Explore', the scent of rose oil may effectively reduce work stress.
Aromatherapy is often used during massages or even at homes in oil diffusers as it influences the brain and nervous system.
For the study, the team included 120 nurses who were divided into three groups based on oil scents: rose, lavender and other nonscented oils like sesame.
Researchers concluded that scented oils reduce sympathetic stimulations that in turn, lower stress. They also noted that rose scent has a positive effect on the nurses’ job stress as compared to other scents.
