Milk is nutritious and rich in essential nutrients like calcium, protein, and vitamin D, promoting strong bones and overall health.
However, there is an ideal time to drink milk as consuming it at different hours of the day has distinct benefits.
Recently, Dr Varalakshmi Yanamandra took to her social media and shared the ideal time to drink milk. In her post, she mentioned that "Ayurveda considers cow milk as one of the best foods that should be consumed regularly. Milk is heavy and nourishing and balances, Vata and Pitta and aggravates kapha in excess.

Drinking milk in the morning on an empty stomach is soothing and also acts as an anti-ageing element. Drinking milk in the afternoon is nourishing in nature and at night milk helps to sleep faster and is beneficial for those who are tired and weak.
You should consume milk after boiling it, as raw milk is heavy to digest and cold in nature.
