Check out some ways to deal with gastric problems:

Avoid certain foods

Consuming heavy, spicy or oily snacks or food takes a longer time to digest and also increases the risk of heartburn which can result in stomach inflammation.

Coffee, energy drinks, packed fruit juices and drinks that have high sugar content should be avoided. Consume green vegetables, fresh seasonal fruits, like watermelon, pears, apple, cucumber, buttermilk, and tender coconut during summer.

Eat frequently in smaller portions

Not just eating the wrong food, but even overeating can result in indigestion. Prefer eating in smaller portions at regular intervals. This can help in the digestion process. Eating salads that include fibrous vegetables like tomato and carrots helps in reducing cholesterol.

Stay hydrated

Drink a lot of water, it helps the body to balance the fluids in heat and clear out any digestive issues by improving the absorption of nutrients. Drink coconut water as it helps in fighting the hot weather.

Exercise regularly

One needs to always be energetic and fit, for which exercising is important. Yoga, brisk walking or cardio exercises would help for all age groups. Physical activity helps in good digestion and reduces stress which eases abdominal pain.
