Smartphones may have made our lives easier in this digital era but a latest study is proving the words of Mark McGuinness, a creative coach's words right, as he once said, "Could the death of boredom mean the death of your creativity?"
According to a latest study published in Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, being addicted or glued to smartphones can become a road blocker to our brain's creative capacity.
The research was done on 48 participants aged between 18 and 25 by using the Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS).
It was concluded in the study that those who had high SAS scores were poor in terms of flexibility, fluency and originality. Whereas, those with low SAS scores were active and creative.
