Holi 2022: Holi is a festival that is celebrated with huge fervour all over the country. This year it will be celebrated on March 18. On this festival, people play with colours and water and also pamper their tastebuds with sweets like Gujiyas. Holika Dahan is celebrated a day before this festival. It will fall on March 17 this year.

Holika Dahan 2022 Date 

Holika Dahan will be celebrated on March 17 this year while Holi will fall on March 18, 2022. 

Holika Dahan 2022 Shubh Muhurat 

The auspicious timings to perform the puja this year will begin from 9:20 PM and will go on till 10:31 PM on March 17, 2022.

Holika Dahan Significance 

Holika Dahan is done to enact the scene of 'Holika's burning to ashes' each year and symbolises the victory of good over evil. According to the legend, no one can harm a true devotee of God and whoever does try, will be reduced to ashes.
