Many of us await winters to be able to get cozy in our winter layers and colourful sweaters. But.. but... but... have you ever seen trees wearing sweaters? No, right? Let us tell you that this does happen in South Korea's Seoul at a place called Jeongdong-gil.

People from a particular community follow this ritual of knitting colourful croatia sweaters over trees during winters for three months. Members gather around trees and knit sweaters over them.

The reason behind this is to protect trees against pests as the crocheted blankets prevent harmful bugs/insects from digging holes into the trees during the winter season.
