Bride-to-be Radhika Merchant turned heads in her stunning yellow lehenga, paired with a real floral dupatta and exquisite jewellery, at the haldi ceremony hosted at Antilla in Mumbai on July 9.
The Ambani ladies are dazzling in every look during the wedding festivities. In the same function, Isha Ambani stole hearts with her raw silk lehenga featuring a pink border, paired with a golden blouse.
She completed her look with a traditional Tamilian jadai hairstyle which took all the limelight of her look and paired her ensemble with a golden necklace and massive emeralds.
The jadai hairstyle consists of three parts. At the top, nestled among the mogra flowers on the bun, is the rakodi, symbolizing the cycle of life. Next is the braid, the actual jadai, which in Isha's case appears to be adorned with a golden thread. The braid concludes with a kunjalam, featuring three tiny baubles. The look is completed with jhumkis (earrings) and golden sun and moon embellishments on either side of the hair partition.
Anant is set to marry Radhika Merchant this Friday, July 12, with a grand reception to follow on July 14. Celebrations will take place at the Ambani’s Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai and their family home.
The dates were reportedly selected based on the couple's birth charts, following Hindu custom, and deemed auspicious. In keeping with tradition, the wedding will be preceded by several days of traditional events and rituals.
