1. DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations
In 2022, Ranbir Kapoor invested in DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations' pre-IPO round, acquiring 37,200 shares for ₹20 lakh. The company's stock debuted on the BSE SME exchange in December 2022, and by March 2024, Kapoor's investment had grown to ₹57.97 lakh, a nearly three-fold increase.
2. Xolopak India
In 2024, Ranbir Kapoor invested in Xolopak India's pre-IPO round, along with Aamir Khan and Karan Johar. Xolopak is a sustainable packaging company that focuses on the B2B segment.
3. All Stars Football Club (ASFC) and Mumbai City FC
Ranbir co-owns ASFC, a celebrity football club that plays charity matches. The club is part of the "Playing for Humanity" initiative. The ‘Animal’ actor is also the co-owner of Mumbai City FC, a football team in the Indian Super League (ISL). This is one of his most prominent business ventures. Ranbir teamed up with chartered accountant Bimal Parekh for this investment. The club has since grown in stature, especially after a strategic tie-up with the City Football Group, the owners of Manchester City.
4. Jio Saavn
According to a report by Financial Express, Ranbir Kapoor has been both a shareholder and the brand ambassador for Saavn, a leading music streaming platform since 2014. His creative partnership is focused on driving the brand’s growth in India, with the goal of reaching music listeners worldwide.
5. Beco
Besides this, Ranbir Kapoor has also invested in Beco, a company specializing in eco-friendly home products like compostable bags and bamboo-based essentials. Alongside other Bollywood stars, he advocates for sustainable living.
According to a Mint report Ranbir Kapoor earns about Rs 30 crore per year. He charges around Rs 50 crore for each movie, plus a share of the profits. This has helped the 42-year-old actor build an impressive net worth of Rs 345 crore.
