People who are rude to waiters are big turn-offs and we are all aware that such 'icks' end relationships. However, a new poll on 2,000 adults found that 65% of people ended a relationship because of such an ick and 88% ghosted someone completely after coming across these turn-offs.

Notably, 15% ended a romantic interest because they were obsessed with star signs, and 14% called it quits with someone who clapped when a plane landed. Meanwhile, 14% of men would also happily end it with someone who wanted to share food on a first date.

16% of women are turned off by those who wear tacky watches and 15% judge someone for being obsessed with their favourite sports team.

The study was conducted by dating app Seeking and it was found that smelling bad tops the list of turn-offs.

So, take a note of these before you head out for your next date.
