World Water Day 2022: ‘Groundwater: Making the invisible visible’

World Water Day is celebrated on March 22 every year to create awareness about the water scarcity in the world. United Nations started observing this day since 1993.

This year's theme for World Water Day is 'Groundwater: Making the invisible visible'. A core focus of this day is to inspire action towards Sustainable Development Goal i.e. water and sanitation for all by 2030.

Water is an essential element for any living being on earth. According to the United Nations, two billion people are living without access to safe water currently. Hence, it's necessary to promote and spread awareness about severe water scarcity.
