It was a long 2 days but packed with a lot of action, drama and humour. Some teams went all out of bid for the players they want and some decided to be judicious.
Ishan Kishan was the most expensive buy on day 1 of the auction. The young wicketkeeper-batter triggered a bidding war before Mumbai Indians bagged him for a whopping ₹15.25 crore.
Punjab Kings went all out for Liam Livingstone and after a huge bidding war, they finally bought him for ₹11.50 crore. Livingstone is now the 2nd-most expensive Englishman in the history of the IPL.

Mumbai Indians buy back Arjun Tendulkar for ₹30 lakh. The uncapped Indian had a base price of ₹20 lakh
Suresh Raina not part of the last list in the auction which means that the former CSK cricketer won't be part of IPL 2022 as a player.
