Apple has unveiled the all-new MacBook Pro that will also draw power from the company’s newly-launched Apple M1 silicon.
The 8-core CPU, when paired with the MacBook Pro’s active cooling system, is up to 2.8 times faster than the previous generation.
Apple also claims that the 8-core GPU is up to five times faster, while the new Neural Engine offers up to 11 times faster machine learning operations.
It’s got the longest battery life ever offered on a Mac, delivering up to 17 hours of wireless web browsing and up to 20 hours of video playback.
Other additions include studio-quality mics for clear recordings and calls, an improved image signal processor for the webcam and two Thunderbolt ports with USB 4 support that now support Apple’s Pro Display XDR in full 6K resolution.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro starts at ₹1,22,900 and will go on sale in India from November 17.
