After a 24-hour ban, and a dharna, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee is back in action on Wednesday with several roadshows and meetings lined up.

Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of trying to influence the elections by campaigning on the days of voting, Banerjee demanded that the EC stop it. Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday said that efforts are on to stop her from campaigning and asserted she is a street fighter and won’t be cowed down by the “intimidation tactics” of the BJP.

West Bengal Chief Minister will meet the families of the Sitalkuchi firing victims today. Four men were killed at a booth in the Sitalkuchi assembly constituency in Cooch Behar during the fourth phase polling on April 10 as CISF personnel opened fire after coming under attack from locals who "attempted to snatch their rifles".
