A day after charging at Modi government, TMC leader Mamata Banerjee trained her guns on the Congress, saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will become more powerful as Congress is not serious about politics and does not take decisions.
On the last day of her three day visit to Goa, Mamata accused the Congress of failing to recognise the need for the opposition to unite.
She also underlined the importance of regional parties to counter the BJP and strengthen India's federal structure. Notably, Mamata held talks with Vijay Sardesai's Goa Forward Party, a former ally of the ruling BJP.

Mamata's criticism of the Congress comes on the day its leader Rahul Gandhi is also in Goa to kickstart the party's campaign in the state.
Mamata had yesterday attacked the Centre and said that Dilli's dadagiri (bullying) has to be stopped.
TMC is contesting all 40 seats in Goa in the upcoming legislative assembly elections.
