It's Trinamool Vs BJP over the Netaji legacy in the election year. West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee led a six-km-long march in Kolkata on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The CM also took a swipe at the Centre's decision to mark the day as 'Parakaram Divas'. Bengal govt has wanted the day to be called 'Deshnayak Diwas', a title given to Netaji by Rabindranath Tagore. Slamming the Centre's move, the CM said that Netaji is a philosophy and an emotion, who believed in the unity of religions. PM Modi is slated to attend a mega event to mark the day at Victoria Memorial.
