Mamata's show of strength in battleground Nandigram

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee addressed an election rally of the Trinamool Congress in Nandigram on Tuesday. A day before filing her nomination from the assembly constituency in Purba Medinipur district, the TMC chief said Nandigram has "always fought against goons. Revealing that the Trinamool Congress will unveil its manifesto on March 11, Banerjee said she will perform 'Shivratri puja' in Nandigram on Thursday before heading back to Kolkata. Stating that BJP is “playing with religion”, she recited ‘Durga mantras’ on stage in Nandigram.
