Man who led & instigated Red Fort mob arrested: Delhi Police

The Delhi Police on Sunday arrested a man, who they claimed led and instigated the mod that went on rampage at the Red Fort during the farmers protest on Republic Day.

The suspect, 65-year-old Sukhdev Singh, belongs to Karnal in Haryana and was nabbed from Chandigarh by a Crime Branch team on the basis of technical surveillance, The Times of India reported.

The police had earlier announced a reward of ₹50,000 on information leading to Singh. Police said that he was involved in leading and instigating the riotous mob at Lal Quila. The main suspect, actor-activist Deep Sidhu, is still at large.
