Manchester City have confirmed that midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has tested positive for Covid-19 and is currently in a ten-day period of self-isolation. The Germany international missed Monday night's English Premier League game against the Wolves and will also sit out of the Carabao Cup game against Bournemouth on Thursday. The 29-year-old is also expected to miss Sunday's league match against Leicester City. Gundogan is the third City player to test positive for the virus, with Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez, who returned to training last week after their own periods of self-isolation.
