Metro to connect to New Delhi railway station platforms

As early as next year, Delhi Metro will connect to the New Delhi railway station platforms directly. Commuters will no longer have to cross clogged lanes to get to the platform as DMRC will build a 225-metre skywalk, as an extension of the foot over bridge inside the railway station. This will give commuters direct access to the Delhi Metro station, the Airport Express Line, autorickshaw stands and parking lots.
