The Delhi government on Monday raised alarm over the deteriorating oxygen supply at various hospitals it controls in the national capital.

In a tweet, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said in most hospitals, oxygen is available for the 8 to 12 hours only.

The oxygen at some of the private hospitals in Delhi is as low as four hours, according to Sisodia.

He said since past one week, the AAP government has been demanding to increase the oxygen supply quota to Delhi, which the central government has yet to act on.
