One of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time, the legendary Valentino Rossi brought the curtains down on his incredible MotoGP career with 10th place in the Valencia Grand Prix on Sunday. It was his 432nd Grand Prix.

Fittingly, Francesco Bagnaia, the man Rossi mentored, won the race and dedicated it to the Italian superstar.

The 42-year-old Italian's career across the sport has spanned 26 seasons, brought him nine world titles - seven in Moto GP - and his final race saw emotional tributes from fans, his Ducati team and his fellow riders. Rossi is considering a move into car racing after his illustrious career on two wheels.
