A Mumbai court will take up Aryan Khan's bail plea on Wednesday, after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is investigating the Mumbai drugs case, files its reply.
Reports say, the NCB has been directed to file its reply by 11 am on Wednesday, following which the court will take up Aryan Khan's bail plea at 2.45 pm the same day.
Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, was arrested in connection with the Mumbai cruise drug case on October 2, along with two of his friends Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchantt, after a drug bust by the NCB on a Goa-bound cruise ship, off the coast of Mumbai. All three of them along with other accused will have to stay in jail for now.
Bail was rejected for Aryan Khan by a special NDPS court on Friday. Aryan's lawyers have contended that there was no illegal substance recovered from the 23-year-old star kid and that granting bail will not stop NCB from conducting further investigation.
Aryan Khan along with the other accused are at Mumbai's Arthur Road prison.
