A video of a man in Agra pleading before the policemen for a oxygen cylinder for his mother who was admitted to the hospital in critical condition has gone viral. In the video, two men are seen taking away the cylinders. 'My mother will die', the man says as he cries profusely.

The SP denied there is a shortage of oxygen and said the man was only requesting the police to arrange an oxygen cylinder for his Covid+ relative. The Agra police condemned the spread of such videos and said these were only meant to mislead people.

UP hospitals have been sending SOS over shortage of oxygen supply while the government continues to maintain that there is no shortage of beds or oxygen in the state.
