Myanmar security forces cracked down on demonstrators opposing military coup. Police fired warning shots and used water cannons to disperse crowds that took to the streets again on Tuesday defying the ban on protests. Reports of many injured demonstrators drew strong concern from the UN's office in Myanmar. Security forces on Tuesday night also raided the national office of Aung San Suu Kyi's party in Yangon. The protesters are demanding that power be restored to the deposed civilian government and are seeking freedom for Suu Kyi.
