Nagaland killings: massive protests by students in Kohima

Massive protests were held in Kohima on Friday against the killing of 14 civilians in army firing on December 4 and 5. 

The protests were organised by the Nagaland's Students Ferderation with huge crowd taking to the streets demanding justice for the dead and withdrawal of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act. 

Students in school uniform were among protesters who carried flags and placards against AFSPA. 

On Thursday, the Eastern Nagaland Peoples' Organisation (ENPO), an apex body of six tribal organisations in Mon, Kiphire, Tuensang, Noklak and Longleng districts in the region, had also organised a protest.
