The convoy of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari was attacked in Bengal's Nandigram on Thursday afternoon. Suvendu Adhikari escaped unhurt, according to reports as stones were hurled at his convoy. The Trinamool Congress, on the other hand, has complained of disruptions at several polling booths in Nandigram. The Election Commission said that problems relating to voting machines had been largely resolved. Voting is underway for 30 assembly constituencies in Bengal, including Nandigram where the BJP has pitted Suvendu Adhikari against CM Mamata Banerjee.
