National capital reports over 20,000 cases, Delhi govt relaxes Sunday curfew

The national capital on Saturday reported 20,181 novel coronavirus cases registering a massive daily positivity rate of 19.6%. 

Delhi also reported 11,869 recoveries and 7 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The data released by the Delhi govt shows 1,586 or 11.24% out of a total of 14,106 Covid-19 hospital beds are occupied. 

Meanwhile, Sunday's weekend curfew, which was imposed to curb the spread of the Covid-19 infection in the capital, has been relaxed. The Delhi govt has lifted the weekend curfew for Sunday in order to allow devotees to visit gurudwaras on the occassion of Guru Gobind Singh's birth anniversary.
