On News Guru | Derek O'Brien: EC compromised, someone else running it

Speaking exclusively to editorji on News Guru, TMC's parliamentary party leader Derek O'Brien tells Vikram Chandra that the Election Commission has been compromised and 'two gentlemen' are running it.

His comment comes after TMC chief Mamata Banerjee urged the poll panel to conduct polling for the remaining phases of the Bengal election in one go, but the EC said it won't be possible.

In a sarcastic swipe at PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, Derek added that the EC is run by 'two very honourable gentlemen, who are fair'.  He said, except for PM Modi and Amit Shah who don't even get a gentle rap on their knuckles, everything else is fair game.
