On public demand, 'Ramayan' will be aired again on TV during the lockdown this year

Ramanand Sagar's cult show 'Ramayan' will soon be back on TV. On public demand, the show will be telecast once again amid the Covid-induced lockdowns and curfews.

'Ramayan' will telecast on Star Bharat, 7 PM every day. The official Twitter handle tweeted the details of the telecast. The show created history upon its re-run on Doordarshan, by becoming the most-watched show ever in the world, giving the highest TRP to the channel.

Actress Dipika Chikhila, who plays he role of 'Sita' on the show, couldn't hold back her joy. She posted a picture on Instagram and said she was very excited that the show will re-run on TV. She asked fans to watch the show and share the knowledge of the Ramayana with future generations.
