The OnePlus Watch has begun receiving an update in the US and Canada, with other countries expected to get it in a few days.

According to the changelog, the update brings improved GPS performance along with improved accuracy of activity tracking, and optimises the heart rate monitoring algorithm and notification syncing algorithm. The update also enables notification app icons for the most frequently used apps, and improves the raise-to-wake feature.

OnePlus is also expected to add Always-on display functionality, and a remote shutter for the paired smartphone’s camera in upcoming updates.
