Oppo has unveiled its next-generation under-display camera technology, which places the selfie camera under a smartphone display, leading to no need for cutouts or notches in the display.
Unlike the current crop of under-display cameras, which have suboptimal picture quality and are still visible when looking at the screen, Oppo’s technology is completely invisible to the naked eye.

According to Oppo, multiple innovations were required to prototype this device, including shrinking the size of each pixel, using a transparent wiring material, and and 1-to-1 pixel circuit driving.
Oppo has currently not shared any news about when this tech could be seen in one of their smartphones.
