Opposition parties led by Congress boycotted Lok Sabha session on Tuesday over farm bill issues and in support of the suspended parliamentarians. Agricultural minister, Narendra Singh Tomar, though had tried assuring the house that the farm bills will bring revolutionary changes in agriculture sector. Opposition MPs, including Congress' Adhir Ranjan Choudhary and NCP's Supriya Sule, held a meeting in Parliament premises after boycotting the ongoing Lok Sabha session. The opposition had also staged a walk out of the upper house of the parliament. Earlier on Tuesday, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad had declared the opposition will boycott the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha till three key demands are met.
