After the tremendous success of the Swacch  Bharat Mission, the government is now focused on providing water security to citizens across the country. With the newly formed Ministry of Jal Shakti and a separate budgetary allocation of funds to the Jal Jeevan Mission, the path has been paved for India to solve the critical issue of water conservation in the country.  Editorji, TERI and UNDP have come together to launch ‘Paani  Project: Connecting  the  Drops’ to promote dialogue and information sharing between various stakeholders and work towards raising awareness about possible solutions to avert a water crisis. Over the course of our six-month long campaign, we intend to highlight some of the major issues around water security in the country that will culminate with the TERI-IWA (The International Water Association) Water Sustainability Awards in March 2022.
