Pak students expelled after 'proposal' video goes viral

A video of a girl proposing to a boy in the University of Lahore campus in Pakistan has gone viral on social media.

The clip also came to the attention of the university administration who summoned the students but they failed to appear. The administration has now expelled the 2 students for 'proposing and hugging on campus'. The act was deemed as 'misconduct and violation of university rules'.

The steps taken by the university have divided the Internet with some calling the move 'ridiculous' while others called it a 'responsible administrative decision'.
