Tata Motors has launched the Nexon EV Max long-range variant with prices starting at Rs. 17.74 lakh, going up to Rs. 19.24 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The model gets an upgraded 40.5 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of over 437 km on a single charge, which is substantially higher than the 312 km range on the standard Nexon EV.
The model also gets a more powerful motor that now produces 141 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. 0-100 kmph comes in under 9 seconds.

The Nexon EV Max also brings several upgrades on the feature front including an updated centre console with a new rotary dial and display unit that shows the modes. There's also the new Makarana beige interiors, leatherette seats with ventilation for front passengers, air purifier, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM and cruise control. The car also comes with upgraded ZConnect 2.0 connected car tech while there are 4 regen modes that further help improve range.
TATA Nexon EV Max Battery
Tata has also improved the charging time on the Nexon EV Max with options of a 3.3 kW charger or a 7.2 kW AC fast charger that helps reduce the charging time to 6.5 hours.
The electric SUV can charge from 0-80 per cent in 56 minutes from any 50 kW DC fast charger. The new Nexon EV Max is available in 3 colours and deliveries will begin from today onwards.
