The murders of three young men- Masood, Praveen and Fazil- have put Karnataka on the edge and the BJP is facing anger from cadres. The BJP government’s reaction has been to pacify just the Hindus and threats of violence bring in an Uttar Pradesh model in the state. TNM’s Editor-in-chief Dhanya Rajendran looks at how communal murders have put the BJP in a spot and how the reaction has been biased, immature and unconstitutional.
