Adani Enterprises’ move to acquire over 29% stake in NDTV has come as a shock to many. NDTV founders - Radhika and Prannoy Roy - have said the move has been done without their consent. It is a hostile takeover. Adani has also offered to buy another 26% stake from public shareholders. If successful, Adani will control the majority stake in NDTV.
