Pat Cummins joins India's fight vs Covid-19, donates USD 50,000

Australian fast bowler who is currently playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL, has joined India's fight against Covid-19. In a heartfelt gesture, Cummins donated US $50,000 to the PM Cares Fund, specially to purchase oxygen supplies for India's hospitals.

In a statement on Twitter, the 27-year-old also urged his fellow players who are featuring in IPL 2021 to extend their help. 

Cummins, who was bought by KKR for a whopping Rs 15 crore in the 2020 auction, said it was the time to channelise emotion into action to help others.
