Digital payments platform Paytm on Thursday announced setting up a ₹10 crore equity investment fund for mini-app developers in the country.
Targeting Google's dominance in the app distribution space in India, Paytm said it aims to have 1 million mini apps on its recently-launched app store before 2022.
Paytm claimed that over 5,000 developers from across the country expressed their interest in being a part of the Paytm Mini App programme.
Paytm launched an Android Mini App Store earlier this week to support local developers.
